Ever wonder what Christians believe and why? Here is your opportunity to find out. “What Do Christians Believe?” is an opportunity to learn about the meaning and importance of Jesus Christ in a safe and non-threatening environment. Questions are encouraged. Here is your opportunity to have your questions answered concerning the spiritual/religious aspects of life.
The cost of the class is FREE and is provided as a service to our community
The series starts on Thursday, September 13, 2018. Classes will take place every Thursday evening from 7:00PM to 8:30PM and will run for 9 weeks until November 8, 2018.

Week 1 – Truth and Morality
What is truth and how can it be known? What is the basis of good and evil? Is life meaningless?
Week 2 – How is God Known?
What is the Bible? How can it be God’s word if men wrote it? What is the Bible’s purpose? What is God like?
Week 3 – Human Life and Living
Is there a moral law? What are the Ten Commandments?
Weeks 4 and 5 – Jesus Christ
Who is Jesus Christ? What did Jesus claim? What did Jesus do?
Week 6 – The Church
Is the church a building or a people? Why are there so many different churches? Why do people go to church? Why is church membership important? In the church, what do pastors, elders and deacons do?
Week 7 – Sacred Symbols
What is Baptism? Do I need to be baptized? What is the Lord’s Supper? Is the Lord’s Supper important?
Week 8 – The Church and the World
Why does the church evangelize? Why is it important to love and serve our neighbors? What is the Christian’s duty toward the ecology and caring for the environment?
Week 9 – Prayer and Eternity
Does God answer my prayers? How do I pray? Is there life after death? Is there a Hell? Do I have reason to fear? How can I have hope?
